Saturday, will be warm, with hazy sunshine in most areas. A lot of dry weather , but a few scattered showers will develop, with possibly a few thundery ones over parts of Ulster. Top temperatures 18 to 25 degrees, in a light variable or easterly breezes.

Saturday Night : A mild, misty night with some patches of fog in places. Lowest temperatures 10 to 15 C. Sunday : It will be warm on Sunday with good sunny spells developing after early mist and fog clear. Top temperatures 19 to 23 degrees Celsius in a moderate southeast breeze which will fresh in the southwest. The Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform, Mr. Dermot Ahern T.D.,
today published the Civil Partnership Bill 2009.
The Bill provides for a statutory civil partnership registration scheme for
same-sex couples together with a range of rights and duties consequent on
registration including maintenance obligations, protection of a shared
home, pension rights and succession. On registration of a civil
partnership, the civil partners will be treated in the same way as spouses
under the tax and social welfare codes. The necessary legislative
provisions, to be provided for in Finance and Social Welfare Bills, will be
brought into effect at the same time as the civil partnership registration
scheme commences.
The Bill provides, for unmarried opposite-sex couples and unregistered
same-sex couples, a redress scheme to give protection to a financially
dependent person at the end of a long-term cohabiting relationship. The
cohabitants scheme will put in place a legal safety-net for people living
in long-term relationships who may otherwise be very vulnerable financially
at the end of a relationship, whether through break-up or through
bereavement.
Announcing the publication, Minister Ahern said: "Publication of the Bill
implements a commitment in the Agreed Programme for Government to legislate
for Civil Partnerships. The Bill provides very significant rights to civil
partners which raises complex legal issues in the context of the special
protection which the Constitution guarantees to marriage and in relation to
the equality rights protected by Article 40.1 of the Constitution. The Bill
has been carefully framed to balance any potential conflict between these
two constitutionally guaranteed rights. This balance is achieved by
maintaining material distinctions between civil partnership and marriage,
in particular between the rights attaching to both, while at the same time
reflecting the equality rights protected by the Constitution.”
The Bill will give legal recognition to cohabitant agreements enabling
cohabitants to regulate their joint financial and property affairs. It will
provide legal certainty as to the status of cohabitant agreements made by
couples who wish to regulate their financial and property affairs but who
do not wish to marry or enter a civil partnership and who do not wish the
redress scheme to apply to them.
The Bill draws on both the Report of the Law Reform Commission on The
Rights and Duties of Cohabitants and the Colley Options Paper on Domestic
Partnership.
Concluding, the Minister said: "This Bill will put in place a legal regime
that reflects the many forms of relationships in modern Irish society. It
provides legal protection for cohabiting couples and is an important step,
particularly for same-sex couples, whose relationships have not previously
been given legal recognition by the State."

Michael JacksonWe've just learned Michael Jackson has died. He was 50.
Michael suffered a cardiac arrest earlier this afternoon at his Holmby Hill home and paramedics were unable to revive him. We're told when paramedics arrived Jackson had no pulse and they never got a pulse back.
Michael is survived by three children: Michael Joseph Jackson, Jr., Paris Michael Katherine Jackson and Prince "Blanket" Michael Jackson II.
Jackson had 13 number one hits during his solo career.

Oh my God!
I admittedly don't like the last 15 years of Michael Jackson career because there's no career on that decade and a half and just really bad controversies. But honestly, I do love Michael Jackson esp. during 80's and early 90's successful tour "History" I remember Michael's History tour in Manila and moi fan-desperation! I wasn't able to see "History" because the ticket was too expensive and yes I was a just a child that time. Oh why? oh why I never see him performed?!
I was watching the telly tonight 10:00PM Irish time and I was shocked that Michael died this afternoon in LA.
at the end he is still the biggest star and huge legacy to many lives! I still can't believe it!

I want a house with an elevated pool,Jacuzzi and palm trees.I passed this design to moi architect together with some changes: I like a better a looking garden zen house,a wooden floor for moi yoga and some concrete arch equipped with cascading water features to supply the water of the pool! So the water will be falling from the top to the pool. Now this sounds like a dream!

Bruno European Premier
Bruno is trotting around Europe with some gayest gay outfits! In London he dressed up as the Queen's guard and in Spain as a matador. Bruno is coming in Dublin this 30Th for the Irish premier....ha ha ha I know who will be adding some spectacular on it.
Britney Dublin!
We went to see Britney Circus Concert last night @ the 02 Dublin! Britney have a big arena of gay followers including moi! There was no support act and the circus curtain opened @ exactly 8:30!
THE WHOLE SHOW WAS MASSIVE! I love the circle circus stage, I love her dancers and the lady girdle is back!lol, I love the special effects, the crowd loves her too...BUT BIG BUT!!!!
SHE DIDN'T SING HER SONGS LIVE EXCEPT FOR ONE BALLAD, THAT'S IT AND IT WAS OBVIOUS! We were literally few rows from the stage and she kept turning 360 degrees to please her fans in every corners the 02. Some gayers outside in the smoking areas were discussing how brilliant her live act was! Are they serious? nah why put yourself in a make belief situation that she was singing live? Mind you she need to lift the headphone closer to her mouth every time she talks( about 4 times) Hello Dublin!
She can't sing live. You watch Britney and enjoy the show! You don't watch her concert to listen if she can hit the note or remember her lyrics(she just play her tracks and dance with it).
I would definitely say that Britney have the right people in her production who loves to get only the best props and routines to make up for her talentless capabiltiy in singing live. Again the circus tent acts and choreography was amazing!
I can only say that Shirley Temple bar is still the best miming girl in Town!

Puppy survives after boy accidentally flushes him down the toilet while washing him
A week-old puppy was recovering today after he was accidentally flushed down the toilet.
The tiny cocker spaniel was trapped in a waste pipe for nearly four hours after Daniel Blair, four, decided he 'needed a wash' and put him in a toilet before pulling the chain.
Amid frantic attempts to rescue the pet, a drainage company had to be called in after firefighters and the RSPCA failed to free him.
Eventually, using specialist camera gear, the firm managed to locate the puppy who was stuck some 20 yards from the house.

Dublin LGBTQ Pride Ltd. is proud to announce the annual, ten day Pride festival which runs this year from 18th to 28th of June.
Pride welcomes thousands people to the streets of Dublin for its infamous display of colour in the country's second largest parade.
The festival has adopted 'Pride & Prejudice?' as its theme for 2009. 'Pride & Prejudice?' will celebrate the literary gay icons throughout history while encouraging the nation to question their own perspectives on the gay community and the lack of equality for LGBTQ people. The theme will formally introduce Dublin Pride's new Arts and Cultural committee to the festival.
The post parade party which involves live performances from musicians, drag queens and dance troops has grown to be one of the biggest out door festivals in the city centre large enough for its traditional venue at the Civic Offices. Bigger acts in recent years such as Brian Kennedy and Maria McKee have added to the event's popularity.

Athlonely Athlone!

So I spent in moi hotel with a bottle of vino and few pints in the hotel bar...Athlonely! glad to be back in Dublin.
Just back from Athlone for a work related seminar. We were booked in the Athlone springs hotel a really lovely hotel and the most friendly staff. Anyways I didn't have the chance to see the town. Our hotel is in the middle of nowhere. I was admiring our trip along the lush greens and the peaceful living of the cows goats and sheep's.
Then we ate the cows...yum lovely beef!
