I nearly choked with a fork when I saw Mary Harness on the telly. I dropped moi dinner and reached for moi camera just to get this covered,She's a rare star!
It's really a shite quality of a video really but it's better than nothing!There ye go you can see the infamous queen!
And if you will ask me for her performance: Well we all know that she can't hit a note really. She really had a very awful start. No she didn't reached that high note( maybe it's just wrong choice of song!)
Entertainment value Mary Harness is 10/10 Madness 10/10 oddness 10/10 costume great!

Same-sex couples urged to hold hands in public
A new campaign aims to encourage same-sex couples to publicly and unashamedly hold hands.
A Day in Hand is asking people to upload photos of public, same-sex holding couples to their official website www.adayinhand.com, register with the site and continue to spread the concept.
Celebrities and public figures have been keen to get involved, with former London Mayoral candidate Brian Paddick supporting the campaign.
Straight people are being encouraged to join in with the campaign.
The group's founder, David Watkins said:
“We want straight people to hold hands with someone of their same gender in public, and describe how it made them feel.
"This is an inclusive event and involving straight people will support a wider understanding of this issue.

Irish-gays-demand-full-marriage
(Dublin) Irish gays are accusing the government of dragging its feet in legalizing same-sex marriage and calling a bill that would grant civil partnerships “insufficient.”

Nearly 1000 people demonstrated in central Dublin blasting the government for refusing to give gay people equal rights.
In January the government announced legislation to allow same-sex couples to form civil partnerships and said that it would be presented to Irish lawmakers in April, but so far the bill has not been filed.
The legislation would allow lesbian and gay couples to register with the State and be recognized in areas such as pensions, inheritances and taxes. But they would not be allowed to become joint parents and would also be denied dozens of other benefits and responsibilities of marriage. The bill also would specify that civil partnerships are not marriages as defined by the Irish Constitution.
The demonstration was organized by Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender (LGBT) Noise which called the proposed bill “a half measure.”

IRELAND: CIVIL MARRIAGE NOW!
800 Of the Lesbian Gay Bisexual and Transgender community in Ireland participated in the CIVIL MARRIAGE RALLY in Dublin Today. The rally took place at the Central Bank in Dublin City Centre, 2PM Irish time.
The CIVIL MARRIAGE rally is spearheaded by the LGBT NOISE, A group working for legalising CIVIL MARRIAGE in the Republic of Ireland.
"What a great atmosphere coupled with a dash of good Irish weather. The turn out was very good and said to be the biggest Homosexual political gathering for a single issue that is Civil Marriage to date.
Being a a gay man myself,Ive been with my partner for more than 8 years. After attending to the rally I felt that my hope was alive. I can feel the collective confidence. I am also confident that the message of LGBT NOISE was clear enough. We want it now! We want our basic rights to be heard. We want to be treated equal.
I am sure that in this lifetime we want to see this great country becoming a better place for gay people. The government "must" ratify THE CIVIL MARRIAGE law for every LGBT people in Ireland.
SO REALLY I AM PROUD THAT AI TOOK PART ON THIS EVENT!

Vatican launches investigation over nuns' teachings on homosexuality
The Vatican is investigating the Leadership Conference of Women Religious, allegedly because it has not towed the official line sufficiently on teachings on homosexuality and other issues.
The nuns' organisation said in a statement this week that the "doctrinal assessment" will investigate its activities and initiatives.
Reports suggest that Vatican officials will investigate the sisters' activities in promoting the church's teachings on the exclusively male status of the priesthood, the primacy of the Catholic Church over other Christian denominations, and the "problem of homosexuality."
In December Pope Benedict XVI claimed that the existence of gay people is as great a threat to humanity as the destruction of the rainforest.
He also attacked trans people and claimed that a "blurring" of genders would lead to the extinction of the human race.

Mexican officials demand Burger King pull new 'offensive' ad featuring a cowboy and a wrestler draped in Mexican flag
Angry Mexican officials are demanding Burger King pull a new advertisement which they claim is offensive.The ad for the new Tex-Mex style hamburgers features a squat Mexican draped in his country's flag and a tall, gangly American cowboy.
The pair become housemates, beginning an unusual friendship that is a play on the unusual taste combinations in the burger - the 'Texican whopper', a cheeseburger with chilli and spicy mayonnaise.
But Mexico's ambassador to Spain said posters for the burger inappropriately display the Mexican flag, which is draped over the diminutive wrestler like a cape.
'This advertisement denigrates the image of our country and uses improperly Mexico's national flag,' Jorge Zermeno wrote in a letter to Burger King in Spain, the Reforma newspaper reported yesterday.
The ambassador contacted the local offices of Burger King after he saw the posters in Spain, Reforma said.
