Unfortunate Pelican Eaten By Killer Whale at Sea World Show Shamu
A pelican made an unfortunate rest stop in the killer whale tank at Sea World just as the Shamu "Believe" show was underway on Friday. The pelican was quickly pulled underwater by one whale who began tearing it apart and sharing it with the two other whales.
The trainers then tried to distract the whales and herd them into another part of the tank so they could retrieve the various bloodied pelican parts from the water (below), all to a perky Disney soundtrack.
They may be in captivity, but they're still wild animals.

Dustin Lance Black OSCARS speech!
ahhhhhhh this Oscar speech made my eyes teary!
"When I was 13 years old, my beautiful mother and my father moved me from a conservative Mormon home in San Antonio, Texas, to California, and I heard the story of Harvey Milk. And it gave me hope. It gave me the hope to live my life, it gave me the hope to one day live my life openly as who I am and that maybe even I could fall in love and one day get married."
—Dustin Lance Black, winner for Milk screenplay
Milk's screenwriter, Dustin Lance Black, calls for gay rights in probably the most moving acceptance speech at the Oscars...

German TV presenter gets slapped after grabbing colleague's breasts on live TV
This is the moment a German TV presenter is slapped around the face for grabbing a colleague’s breasts on live TV.
Aprropriately named Hans Blomberg was announcing the voting results of a Eurovision-style song contest along with Susanka Bersin when he struck.
Hans joked: "But the two most beautiful points remain with me" – before grabbing Susanka’s cleavage.
Shocked Susanka retaliated by slapping him across the face.

British evangelical condemnation of God Hates Fags sect questioned

A leading religious commentator has questioned why British fundamentalist Christian groups that oppose gay rights have spoken out against a hate preacher from America.
The Home Office confirmed yesterday that Fred Phelps and Shirley Phelps-Roper of the Westboro Baptist Church will be denied entry to the UK should they try to travel here.
WBC had claimed it was going to picket a performance of a gay-themed play in Basingstoke later today.
The Kansas-based sect, which has less than 60 members, is notorious in the US for picketing the funerals of soldiers killed in action with placards claiming God Hates Fags.

Blog Adoration: Panti / Pantibar blog

J'adore Panti!!!
I love reading Panti's blog her obsession with the Dublin bay pigeon house is so so addictive.Panti's pup called penny is blogging simultaneously on and off. A puppy blogging?
Since 1996 Panti has been the hostess of the annual Alternative Miss Ireland pageant. Considered by many as the grande dame of the Dublin gay scene and the most influential of all Irish drag queens, Panti spent several years in Tokyo, (performing as part of double act called CANDIPANTI), she returned to Ireland and the country is evah mega- gayer to the maximum since then.
Here is the funny vid on Pantibar's lates blog installation.

Out magazine cranking out fashion tributes
Oh mommmmmmy! I love the Graffiti leggings in orange and graffiti sneaker boots by Louis Vuitton.

After an interesting homage to Scottish stylist Ray Petri featuring Andrés Velencoso Segura, Out pays tribute to the graffiti prints and neon aesthetic of late fashion designer and artist Stephen Sprouse in an editorial titled Sprouse Up your Life [above], shot by Giampaolo Sgura and starring Jaymes Triglone (Beatrice), Clark Mallon (Why Not) and Jamie Jewitt (D’Men).

Also in this issue, an homage to the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood — once a major cultural center for Brooklyn’s African-American population and still a Spike Lee favorite — shot by David Armstrong, and featuring Request Models Eduardo O., Joseph L., Dilon E., Shepel T., and the smoldering Nate Gill (Major Models) [above].

Ireland Eurovision 2009 : Et Cetera Go Ireland!
Friday night and we spent it in our gay-comfy sofas watching the Late Late Show for the 2009 Eurosong. My fella was rooting for song 2 while at first I kinda like the Latvian minority entry(song 5). Why there's an eastern European in the Irish finals? You have to ask tranny Linda Martin about that. Then I heard the last song (song 6) Et Cetera and I thought what a great song for Eurovision. So number 6 moi top choice. Listen to it and surely it will grow on you. I am glad they made it at the end and will represent Ireland for this year's Eurovision 2009. Probably the best song after the long Irish EV-drought. Ireland will have a good chance of clinging to the finals.
